French 8 day Portico clock

A pretty inlaid ebony veneered 8 day Portico clock made by Japy Freres, Paris. The original silk suspension for the embossed pendulum now converted to spring steel. Countwheel controlled hour and half-hour striking on a bell. Ormolu rococo dial surround and column capitals.
